Educational Scholarship Fund Needs Support
Bright Future School serves as a bridge for low-income families and underprivileged children from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering a quality education, from nursery through primary levels, in a safe and conducive learning environment. The school also assists families in need by offering scholarships, and teachers receive ongoing training to enhance their skills and improve student understanding. Bright Future School has an ongoing need for donations to support need-based scholarships for students.
Scholarships Provide Access to Education
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to provide scholarships to cover school fees for three children over the course of three academic years, one student at Imani school in Arusha and two students at Bright Future School in Moshi. The donation was also used to provide general support to Bright Future School as many of the children at Bright Future can not pay their school fees and hence, many teachers are not paid or are paid late. Luena Foundation has also helped Bright Future in past projects with a latrine, a new borehole and an additional classroom as well.
