Teen Girls Face Multiple Barriers to Security
In Luuka district, girls encounter significant hurdles including early marriage, restricted educational opportunities, teenage pregnancies, and gender-based violence. Our mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty and empower these girls by providing them with the resources and support they need to overcome these challenges, seize opportunities, and shape their own futures.
New Facilities Will Expand Learning Opportunities for Young Women
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to begin construction of the Enciso Block, See Them Grow Foundation’s (STGF) ambitious second four-classroom initiative, setting in motion plans to expand our educational offerings and community impact. The Enciso Block will feature specialized classrooms to teach catering and hospitality, music, dance, drama, and entrepreneurship. It will also provide a dedicated space for daycare, crucial for supporting teenage mothers as they acquire vocational skills. This expansion is expected to accommodate up to 250 beneficiaries, significantly enhancing our ability to serve the community.
