Noise Interrupts Learning
Previously, the classroom floors were made of iron sheeting. These were noisy to walk across, causing interruptions to classes as pupils move from one place to another, and the floors were not in good condition.
New Floor Improves Safety and Standard of School
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to install tiles within the classrooms. This dramatically reduces the noise of movement within classrooms and improves the overall quality of the classroom facility. With proper maintenance, tiles are durable and resistant to permanent damage.
Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization
Christ’s Victory Centre (CVC) is a registered Community-Based Organization that was established solely by a group of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in September 2009. CVC is located along Thika Road in Githurai 45, right outside Nairobi, Kenya. The idea of creating CVC came from the revelation that our founders received from the Bible in the book of Jeremiah 29:5-7: “… I must contribute to the peace, development and prosperity of the host country” (Kenya).
