School Fees Present a Barrier to Education Access

Didier, the chairperson of Christ’s Victory Centre (CVC), came to Kenya as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1999. He and his colleagues invest tremendous time and energy into operating CVC’s programs, which include education, training, and care for orphans and vulnerable children. However, it has been challenging for Didier’s family to meet the school fees of his own three daughters.

Fee Payment Secures Girls’ Education

The donation from Luena Foundation was used to pay for the school fees of Didier’s three daughters for one school year.

Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization

Christ’s Victory Centre (CVC) is a registered Community-Based Organization that was established solely by a group of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in September 2009. CVC is located along Thika Road in Githurai 45, right outside Nairobi, Kenya. The idea of creating CVC came from the revelation that our founders received from the Bible in the book of Jeremiah 29:5-7: “… I must contribute to the peace, development and prosperity of the host country” (Kenya).
