Learning Limited By Lack of School Supplies

The school had limited supplies in terms of stationery materials, such as writing equipment and textbooks to help facilitate instruction and learning.

New Stationery Supports Teaching and Learning

The donation from Luena Foundation was used to purchase textbooks and stationery, including notebooks and writing materials. This benefited teachers with additional content to support instruction and benefited pupils with materials to write lessons and complete assignments.

Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization

Christ’s Victory Centre (CVC) is a registered Community-Based Organization that was established solely by a group of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in September 2009. CVC is located along Thika Road in Githurai 45, right outside Nairobi, Kenya. The idea of creating CVC came from the revelation that our founders received from the Bible in the book of Jeremiah 29:5-7: “… I must contribute to the peace, development and prosperity of the host country” (Kenya).
