Giving can come in many different forms at the Luena Foundation and every gift can help to materially transform the life of a child in need. Here’s how you can make a difference.
It does not take a lot of money to make an impact. You can pledge a monthly amount or make a one-time donation to Luena Foundation. At the end of the year, your contribution will change a child’s life. We encourage you to become an associate of the Luena Foundation and set up a weekly, monthly or annual pledge.

Gifting long-term appreciated stocks directly to a public charity, rather than selling the stock and donating the net cash proceeds, is a great way to maximize the value of your charitable donation! This method of giving is very popular because of two key tax advantages; a tax deduction is allowed for the full fair market value of the stock and capital gains taxes from selling the stock no longer apply. The tax savings from a direct stock donation can be more than double the value of selling, then donating the net proceeds.

Our goal is to host various raffles and auctions throughout the year and if you have anything of value just sitting around collecting dust, you can donate it! Are you one of the many lucky people who have second home? You can donate a week’s stay at your rental home and we will be able to raffle or include your generous gift in our next raffle / auction.
Most companies sponsor multiple charities over the course of a year. Be an advocate for Luena Foundation at your company. We can help talk with your company about how to get involved and the great things we do to support kids.

If you are having a birthday party or a wedding, you could let your guests know that you would prefer a donation rather than a traditional gift. It’s a great way to get your friends and family involved in a good cause!
