Classrooms Without Electricity Present Challenges to Learning
Lack of electricity affected the institution negatively and impacted the students’ academic performance. Without electric lighting in classrooms, the students had trouble studying and completing their assignments on time. They were also unable to access online resources.
New Wiring Improves Safety and Standard of School
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to install electricity within the school premises to create a better learning environment. Well-lit classrooms enhance visibility, reduce eye-strain, and foster a more conducive atmosphere for a better learning and teaching.
Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization
Christ’s Victory Centre (CVC) is a registered Community-Based Organization that was established solely by a group of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in September 2009. CVC is located along Thika Road in Githurai 45, right outside Nairobi, Kenya. The idea of creating CVC came from the revelation that our founders received from the Bible in the book of Jeremiah 29:5-7: “… I must contribute to the peace, development and prosperity of the host country” (Kenya).
