Limited Network Coverage and Computer Access Present Barriers to Communication
Access to personal computers, internet cafes, and internet networks is very limited in Tororo District, in Eastern Uganda. It is very expensive to buy a computer for private use. This makes it difficult for a community-based organization to maintain a digital presence that can help with communications, spreading awareness, and fundraising. The lack of computer access also limits methods of managing administrative tasks such as record-keeping.
New Laptop Facilitates Effective Program Management
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to purchase one computer to help Love Circus Uganda communicate with donors, review and store videos and photos from within and beyond the project, create and edit documents, and manage other programmatic work. Having a computer has greatly simplified projects and administrative tasks and allowed Love Circus Uganda to stay in closer contact with donors.

Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization

At Love Circus Uganda School, our mission is to empower street kids and orphans by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. Through the medium of circus arts, we aim to instill valuable life skills such as teamwork, trust, patience, and consistency. By cultivating these skills, we foster the development of young leaders who can confidently reject negative influences in their community.
