Limited Classroom Furnishing Presents Challenges for Learning

The school had inadequate seats in the classrooms, requiring as many as five to six children to squeeze around one desk. This was inconvenient and uncomfortable, which distracted from students’ focus and ability to learn effectively.

New Desks Support Effective Learning Environments

The donation from Luena Foundation was used to purchase supplies so that volunteers could build 30 desks to improve seating and work space for students.
