Opportunities to Address Social Challenges
See Them Grow Foundation’s (STGF) mission is to help young people develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to create a bright and sustainable future for themselves and their families and to break the cycle of poverty. STGF sees a need for a safe and supportive environment that contributes to addressing critical social issues such as teenage pregnancy and promoting safety, respect, and positive behavior within the community.
New Field Facilitates Community Engagement and Personal Growth
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to build the Brian Culley Soccer Field at STGF’s Vocational Training Center. The field is more than just a new facility – it represents a significant commitment to nurturing youth development and fostering community spirit. The soccer field will offer boys and girls a constructive outlet to channel their energy, build vital life skills, and cultivate their talents and will serve as a dynamic space where young people can explore their potential, connect with peers, and benefit from structured activities. We envision it as a cornerstone for community engagement and personal development, offering valuable opportunities for learning and growth.
Meet our Partner Community-Based Organization
See Them Grow Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on empowering teenage mothers, youths, children, and people with disabilities in Luuka District by providing access to vocational training skills and resources. The foundation seeks to fulfil the pillars of the rights of children as recognized by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning by 2030.
