People With Disabilities Face Barriers to Public Participation
Disabled women in rural Uganda do not have easy access to education. Empowerment and advocacy can support them to participate fully in community life and secure their future.
School Fees Support a Young Woman’s Future
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to pay part of the school fees so that a young woman with a disability can continue her secondary school education. Through education, her goal is to develop her talent in the music industry so that she can earn an income by writing and producing songs.
