Inadequate School Facilities Hinder Effective Learning
The village school faces numerous challenges due to the lack of a standard classroom block. The existing mud-walled and thatched-roof structures are inadequate, providing little protection from harsh weather conditions, such as heavy rainfall and scorching heat. This results in frequent disruptions to learning, with students often forced to study under trees or in makeshift shelters. Additionally, the cramped and poorly ventilated classrooms hinder effective teaching and learning, while the absence of basic amenities like desks, chairs, and blackboards exacerbates the difficulties faced by both students and teachers.
New Classroom Block Improves Learning Environment
The donation from Luena Foundation was used to construct a modern and well-equipped classroom block, providing a conducive learning environment for our students. Having improved and effective school facilities helps increase the morale of students to attend class and also reduces the high rate of school dropouts.
